I am a multidisciplinary creative director and product designer passionate about building user-friendly products, services and interactive experiences. Throughout my 15+ years in the interactive design industry, I have collaborated with many talented people and innovative agencies, companies and clients. I have learned to ask the right questions and listen. To listen carefully affords a deeper understanding of an issue, which translates to an empathetic approach to problem-solving. Whether crafting a cohesive brand narrative or building a digital product from the ground up, empathetic problem solving is my north star from ideation to execution. I am in the business of understanding the user. I am a creative thinker and designer who strives to combine function and form with measurable results. I am a believer in the intuitive aesthetic decisions and fine detail work that can elevate a project from good to great. Whether leading creative teams or working as an integral part of one, I draw from my toolbox—deep technical expertise and the intuitive—to create elegant solutions to complex problems, where the sign of a job well done is if the user doesn't notice my work at all. In the evenings, I turn into an avid reader of Mo Williems and Seussian tales. My daughter seems to be a big fan too. When I’m not taking care of my daughter or watching the NBA, I like to make documentary films that shine a light on people and their untold stories. Received an MFA in Creative Writing from New School University. Film work has appeared in National Geographic and been nominated for a NY Emmy Award.
